ANY ADVICE OR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED
A few years back, I got into a (supposedly) reputably legitimate Internet Business I found on a prominent online job site…cash transfer. I did research these through the BBB and found no reports on them. It went well for about two months, then tragedy struck…the checks deposited into the account were reversed and I fell into deep debt (on the lines of $10,000). Because of this, no will let me open an account, and no credit card company will issue me a credit card (without a high processing fee which I do not have).
Before all this, I struggled to get out of credit card debt and had just achieved this, so I thought that I could rebuild credit this way. I finally just caught up with my finances and was getting a little ahead. I acquired a job where I could advance about twenty miles from home and got caught up with bills when tragedy struck again…my car’s clutch went out. It took 4 months and three parking tickets from keeping the car in front of my home (which I am just now getting paid) to get the clutch fixed, but the engine (which has high mileage) started going.
Since July, I have been taking the Washington Metro, which has turned one-hour (round trip) daily commute into five hours. In addition, I have been loosing about an additional fifty plus dollars daily because I am unable to get to work on time because of delays in the train. In order to get to work on time, I must leave for work when its dark out, and that involves almost a one-mile walk through a park, which I do not consider an option.
To make a long story short, it would take between $1500 to $2000 to repair the car. I tried to get another car, but no one wants to finance me. Any advice would be nice on how to borrow the necessary funds to repair the car. I have taken the tags off the car in an attempt to save some extra money from insurance, but even with the vehicle parked on the driveway, I in danger of receiving an additional fine because the city considers it in in-operative vehicle. Please help soon. Thank you, and God Bless.
